After travelling in Europe and Southeast Asia for over 3 years, we returned to Victoria and wanted to share our love of adventure and flavour with our customers at Shatterbox. The Big Spoon offers artfully created flavour combinations in every bowl, providing you with the best tasting soups and sauces. Our products are made from scratch in small batches.
Eat in or take out, the Big Spoon will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

The Big Spoon was created by Shatterbox, a locally-owned coffeehouse also located in the Victoria Public Market at the Hudson. During the early months of the pandemic, Shatterbox struggled with revenue when their foot traffic diminished. In response, they started creating soups for folks to take home for supper while picking up their morning joe. Those soups proved to be wildly popular and led to founding The Big Spoon in September 2021 with a full-fledged soup menu.
